About the Author
While travelling through a Rajasthan desert in 1998, Paul Haines decided he would become a writer.
Paul survived the inaugural Clarion South writers workshop in 2004, and has won an Aurealis Award and three Ditmar Awards for his short fiction and New Zealand’s Sir Julius Vogel Award for his first book,
Doorways for the Dispossessed.
Paul Haines lives in Melbourne with his wife Julie and young daughter, Isla.
