Do you have what it takes to join the ranks of
the best and darkest Australian short stories authors? ADFH alumni include

Australian Dark Fantasy & Horror is a 'year's
best' anthology series of short stories and essays.
Your work is eligible for consideration if:
You are a citizen or resident of Australia,
New Zealand, or the Oceania region;
Your story was published in English in print
form (in magazines, anthologies, on a website, etc) - anywhere in the
world - between 1 January and 31 December, 2008;
Your work falls within the dark fiction genres
(horror, dark fantasy, dark science fiction, or
paranormal genres); and
Your short story is less than 25,000 words
or your essay is less than 10,000 words.

following publications as they are read by the editor:
